The Cziniel Budakeszi patisserie and coffee house has opened: a place that is not only about delicious bites and cakes, but also about getting together. The new venue has found its home in Gesztenyéskert, in the building of the legendary Nagyvendéglő – with a new look and a fresh offer, but in the spirit of the well-known Cziniel hospitality.
Cziniel’s aim is simple: to create a place where it feels good to be. A place that’s good for meeting up, chatting, having breakfast or just popping in for a slice of cake. The offer includes classic breakfasts, exciting brunch dishes, light salads, hearty hot meals, home-made ice creams, more than 60 kinds of cake and speciality coffees – suited to every time of day and every mood.
Weekends have their specialities too: guests are welcomed with a homely Sunday lunch – rich meat broth served in the pot, breaded schnitzel and creamy mashed potatoes – just like at home.
Inside, a spacious, bright dining area, a winter garden with a fireplace and a 14-metre counter await guests – everything is easy to see and easy to reach. Upstairs there is a lounge atmosphere with sofas and a family-friendly children’s corner. Outside, a shaded garden with 100 seats, a separate ice-cream terrace, children’s programmes and live music round off the experience.
The venue’s open ambition is to become a central player in Budakeszi’s community life. Cziniel is not only a place to eat and drink but also a community space, hosting local art exhibitions, concerts and children’s programmes, and working with civil organisations to create opportunities for new experiences.
Cziniel Budakeszi is run by the Eventrend Group, who launched the Budakeszi venue on the back of the success of Cziniel on the Római-part. The group bought the old Nagyvendéglő and renovated everything from top to bottom.
Cziniel has also created an app that makes the guest experience even more personal – with tailored offers, discounts and pre-ordering options, it makes everyday life easier for its guests.
