The gold standard of the hotel and events industry.
Day Holiday founded the Golden Sun Award in 2005 to recognise Hungary's best conference hotels. The award is a registered trademark and symbolises the handshake between hotel professionals and the players of the events market.
Day Holiday's clients and team compare Hungary's conference venues on professional criteria. With the award we also thank the hotels for their work: the winners have helped our company organise successful events with their reliable, high-quality services.
Golden Sun Gala
On 21 May 2026 we presented the award for the eighteenth time, in the Ballroom of the Hilton Budapest, with the professional support of the Hungarian Hotel and Restaurant Association.
