Tündérkert Hotel Noszvaj

Those who have stayed with us unanimously say that the hotel has a personality and a special atmosphere of its own, owing in large part to its distinctive style. Our interiors, born of the meeting of past and present, are dominated by light tones. Our small hotel lies next to the garden of the De La Motte Kastély, so guests can enjoy nature at every moment of the day. The Tündérkert Hotel in Noszvaj lies in picturesque surroundings at the southern gateway to the Bükk Mountains, near Eger.

Rooms

The atmosphere of our rooms is defined by the forest views and the closeness of nature: we have balanced the earthy colours of the surroundings with soft vanilla, off-white and fresh blue. High-quality, comfortable beds and mattresses, together with curtains offering excellent blackout, ensure a restful sleep. Our rooms are available with a double bed or twin beds. Many rooms have a balcony overlooking the park, and those on the ground floor have their own garden access. Extra beds can be added to our rooms, and all of them, without exception, are non-smoking.

Our Classic rooms, furnished in vintage style, are recommended primarily for 2 people. Beside the double bed, made cosy with plenty of pillows and unique textiles, snow-white bedside tables with graceful lines let you keep your evening reading and personal belongings close at hand.

Our Classic Plus rooms are designed in keeping with the Classic rooms of our small hotel, but because of the armchair bed/extra bed (80×190 cm) we recommend them for guests travelling with children.

Our Classic Family rooms – as the name suggests – have been designed for families. The rooms comfortably sleep 2 adults, and 2 children can sleep in their own little nook on the bunk bed that is part of the furnishings.

Our connecting rooms consist of rooms with Classic Family furnishings. This arrangement is ideal above all for larger
families and multi-generational travellers, as simply by opening the door they can “conjure up” a comfortable, open-plan 34-square-metre family apartment with two bathrooms in a single moment. The layout of the Classic connecting rooms provides an excellent and comfortable stay for as many as 4–5 people.

Our most special rooms, the Classic De la Motte rooms, are located beside the De La Motte Kastély; these 6 rooms were once part of the building. We recommend them to those who would like to experience the special historic atmosphere of bygone eras, the meeting of past and present. Instead of numbers, our rooms bear the names of the castle’s former owners, and each one is unique and different from the others. Although their furnishings draw on a similar style, they differ from one another in a few small details. Whose room would you choose: Vécsey, Szepessy, Gallasy, De la Motte or Steinhauser?

Our Eco rooms share the vintage style and design of our Classic rooms, but they face the service entrance. We recommend our Eco rooms primarily for 2 adults.

Our Eco Kid rooms are identical in size and style to our popular Eco rooms, but they have been designed primarily for guests travelling with children, as each room is furnished with an armchair bed/extra bed. Here, too, the furnishings continue the vintage line, just like the rest of the hotel. The play of soft pastel colours makes this primarily practical and comfortable space feel airy. Our Eco Kid rooms also face the service entrance.

Event options

Organise your corporate event at the Tündérkert Hotel and Event Centre in Noszvaj! The small castle and the adjoining Tündérkert Hotel are just over an hour from Budapest and only a few minutes from Eger, one of Hungary’s best-loved historic towns. Surrounded by a lush 9.5-hectare wooded English landscape park, the hotel and castle – with their legends, special forest adventures, historical discoveries and the hotel’s refreshing bathhouse – offer programmes full of experiences, whether for team building, training or any other corporate event.

The hotel’s event rooms, equipped with modern technical facilities, are ideal for weddings, exclusive receptions and gala dinners, as well as business meetings, conferences and team-building training sessions. The 69 m2 Vécsey Room upstairs has the same equipment as the ground-floor rooms; its advantage is that the lighter passing traffic upstairs makes the event more private for guests. Our 103 m2 Almássy Room on the ground floor has huge windows, natural daylight and direct access to the outdoors. The 86 m2 Szepessy Room in the restaurant area can also be used as a conference room during the day if required; both rooms are accessible from the lobby, which also serves as an exclusive venue for banquets and parties.

An excellent venue for groups

Next to the De La Motte Kastély in Noszvaj, the Tündérkert Hotel is an excellent venue for camps and retreats. Our small, family-style hotel specialises in all kinds of classic or unconventional events that are meant to take place in special surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere. Our professional organising team will bring your ideas to life – and we are also happy to suggest ideas, drawing on our experience. Leave the organisation to us and relax completely! Returning guests are, of course, welcomed at our small, family-style hotel with bespoke offers and a friendly greeting. We put together bespoke programme packages to suit the needs of each group, or you can choose from our ready-made offers: a Baroque walk in the neighbouring De La Motte Kastély, followed by solving the puzzles of the Tündérösvény (Fairy Path) in the castle garden, and finally a delicious lunch to round off the interactive programme. For the more adventurous, we warmly recommend a wine tasting combined with a visit to the Magtár-értéktár heritage collection, but we are also happy to organise other kinds of programmes! The Tündérkert Hotel in Noszvaj is also a popular destination for school trips.

Restaurant

Our passion is preparing delicious food. Every day, together with our chefs, we strive to serve your favourite dishes. It is important to us that our dishes are a great success with our guests, and that they are mouth-wateringly delicious and healthy. We often cook for our guests from family recipes, and in our experience these are the most popular dishes in our hotel. In no time at all we can also conjure up delicious dishes for guests with special dietary needs or those on a diet.

Dining

Just a few steps from the hotel reception, our guests can drop into a vintage-style bistro. We always put together our seasonal dishes in tune with the rhythm of nature, using freshly harvested ingredients. We serve a buffet breakfast every day. The breakfast selection includes tasty cheeses, cold cuts, seasonal
vegetables, fruit and hot dishes (scrambled eggs, frankfurters, etc.). Fresh, crispy pastries, yoghurts and hot and cold breakfast drinks round out the selection.

For dinner we prepare tasty home-style dishes so that our guests, tired after a full day of excursions, can recharge. In our restaurant you can sip the finest Eger wines and the spirits of renowned pálinka masters alongside your dinner courses. At weekends, the buffet dinner in our family-style restaurant is famous for more than just our delicious food! You can enjoy our best dishes to the accompaniment of pleasant live music and sip selected wines from the Eger wine region. Hotel guests do not need to book separately.

Wellness facilities

The 7×7-metre indoor pool in our refreshing bathhouse invites you to take a dip; its gently rippling blue water plays subtly against the stronger blue tones of the walls. The atmospheric lighting radiates calm. The sauna and infrared sauna in the bathhouse offer an opportunity to detoxify and support complete physical and mental rejuvenation.
