Hotel

Noszvaj has some of the cleanest air in the country; it is popular with gastro-adventurers and is of great importance for tourism. Located near Eger, Noszvaj was originally founded by Italian settlers. This is also where its name comes from: in Latin it means “Our village”.

The history of our baby-friendly wellness hotel began before the 1900s, when Berta Steinhauser married the military commander Gyula Galassy. Near their earlier residence, the De La Motte Kastély in Noszvaj, the Berta-major (Galassy Manor) was probably built between 1901 and 1904 as the centre of their farming estate, modern for its time – and today it is our hotel's building.

Great care was always taken over the landscaping of the castle's surroundings. Count Galassy loved travelling to distant parts of the world, and from his tours of East Asia he brought back the experience of bathing, meditation and the special Japanese wellness experience – ZEN Spa. On the estate he created a lake with small bridges and a bathhouse, which probably stood where the hotel's current ZEN Spa is today.

In the second half of the 20th century, the building operated as a company holiday home and later as a hostel. Following its conversion, since June 2012 it has been a four-star child- and baby-friendly wellness hotel meeting today's standards, welcoming families in search of relaxation with many unforgettable experiences and outdoor and indoor programmes. Nestled among the tall trees of a four-hectare park, the uniquely designed Oxigén Family Hotel**** Superior, reminiscent of an English country manor, quickly became one of the most popular hotels thanks to its own adventure park, all-day entertainment activities and excellent gastronomy.

Rooms

Standard double rooms

One of our Standard double rooms with shower is the ideal choice for couples. The earthy tones of the interior and the design of the furnishings bring nature within reach inside the building, as can be experienced throughout our
hotel. Most of our standard rooms have a raised platform that can be made up as a bed for children.

Deluxe rooms

If you like more space, you will feel at home in one of our Deluxe rooms! These open-plan rooms with shower can even accommodate families with 2 children or two babies. Two of the rooms have been designed to be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Deluxe mini family rooms

Our Deluxe mini family rooms are ideal for families travelling with 2 small children: each has 2 raised platforms measuring 155 cm. So the two little rascals – although they sleep in the same space as their parents – can wait for the sandman in their own cosy nook! Our Deluxe mini family rooms are conveniently located on the reception level, close to our Zen Spa wellness realm and the De la Motte restaurant.

Mini suites

Our Mini suites with bathtub hold a special place among the room types of our baby-friendly wellness hotel. In these open-plan suites, the bathroom also has a shower in addition to the eye-catching bathtub placed in the room. The mini suites with a double bed are comfortable for families arriving with one or two children, as well as for couples on a romantic getaway.

Oxigén suites

A speciality of our hotel is that we can accommodate families travelling with several children or with grandparents in two-room suites. Our Oxigén suites consist of 2 rooms – a bedroom and a living room – where 3 adults and the little ones can fit comfortably. The two rooms are separated by a glass or wooden door. One of our Oxigén suites with shower is an ideal choice for multi-generational trips or for families with 2-3 children!

Deluxe suites

Up to 4 adults with children can stay in the two-room Deluxe suites of our forest wellness hotel. We welcome both families arriving with grandparents and families with several children, as parents with 4-5
kids, or parents with grandparents and 2-3 children, can fit comfortably in our spacious Deluxe suites. The rooms of our 4 Deluxe suites are separated by a wooden or glass door; two of them have a bathroom with shower, while the other two also have a bathtub in the room in addition to the bathroom with shower.

Double-comfort suites

In our hotel's double-comfort suites the whole family can relax together, while everyone still has their own personal space and freedom! Our interconnecting standard rooms with extra beds are opened up into two-room suites with two bathrooms, providing a homely space for your family. We therefore recommend them to parents travelling with 3-4 children, or to families arriving with grandparents and kids, who can make practical use of both bathrooms with showers.

Restaurant

Our passion is preparing delicious food. Every day, together with our chefs, we strive to serve your favourite dishes. It is important to us that our dishes are a great success with our guests, and that they are mouth-wateringly delicious and healthy. We often cook for our guests from family recipes, and in our experience these are the most popular dishes in our hotel. In no time at all we can also conjure up delicious dishes for guests with special dietary needs or those on a diet.

In our child- and baby-friendly hotel in Noszvaj, our gourmet Hungarian-style dishes are made from natural ingredients. The hotel has two cosy restaurants, a children's buffet and dining area and, in season, a shady terrace.

Dining

Breakfast and dinner are served from a generous buffet in our wellness hotel's restaurant, and some of our packages include lunch for adults as well. At breakfast we offer local flavours, artisan cheeses and jams made using traditional methods on the area's renowned family farms. Our pastries are freshly baked. At lunchtime you can choose from our seasonal menu, complemented by options for children and babies. At dinner, the game and forest specialities typical of the region have become guest favourites.

The
cheerful chatter of children in the Bambínó dining area, built right next to the restaurant, ensures a lively atmosphere. Children are welcomed not only with their favourite dishes at the children's buffet, but also with a two-storey brick play castle and a baby corner in the play area. Children under 10 receive all-inclusive board. Outside the main meals, they can have snacks, fresh fruit, yoghurt and fruit juices at any time.

We have also taken care of babies' meals: our baby food is available in several flavours at any time of day. To make feeding easier, high chairs, children's cutlery and hygiene products are also available.

We felt it was important that parents can also eat in comfort and in a relaxed atmosphere, so we decided to create our newest playhouse with direct access from our wellness hotel's restaurant – after all, children soon get bored at the table once their tummies are full. With our children's all-inclusive* service we treat the kids to their favourite flavours – semolina pudding, spaghetti and many other treats – and of course children's portions from the adult menu are also available in the restaurants of our child-friendly wellness hotel.

Wellness facilities

In our Zen Spa family wellness realm, peace and harmony are tangible, just as you can feel yourself being recharged with energy. The swimming/family pool is 20 metres long and widens in the middle, where the water depth is suitable for children too. The streaming sunlight turns swimming into sunbathing, and from the pool you can also look out onto the ZEN garden.

Our swimming pool is flanked by two jacuzzis, which also offer an unrivalled view. For truly revitalising relaxation, try our Finnish, infrared and steam saunas as well. In our children's bathing garden, 3 pools of different depths and a children's aroma sauna are at the little ones' disposal.
