Főnix Wellness Resort

Exclusive corporate events in a refined setting – your company deserves exclusivity too!

The Főnix Wellness Resort castle hotel in Nógrádgárdony offers a special, inspiring setting that goes beyond ordinary hotel options. The castle preserves the 19th-century heritage of the Zichy and Majláth families, while enchanting our guests with modern comfort.

Exclusivity for events of more than 30 people
If you are looking for an out-of-the-ordinary venue for your company's training, annual review event, one-day or multi-day meetings, corporate dinner, or indoor or outdoor team-building programmes, the Főnix Resort is the perfect choice.
Nógrádgárdony, once the centre of a count's estate, lies just over an hour's drive from Budapest – exactly the right distance for your colleagues to remain active participants in the relaxed evening conversations. Here, far from the bustle of the city, a calm, undisturbed environment is guaranteed.

For events of more than 30 people, we offer exclusive use of the venue, so every square metre of the castle and park will be yours alone. We are happy to bring any training idea to life, from acting to raft building.
Four rooms with natural daylight are available – for events of anything from 6 to 60 people – so you will find the ideal space for every type of gathering:

• Mikszáth Room (85 m²)
• Zichy Room (60 m²)
• Majláth Room (35 m²)

The rooms can be used in a variety of layouts – theatre, U-shape, classroom or banquet – whichever suits the event best. For smaller meetings of 6–8 people, our library offers a space with a special atmosphere. The wine cellar is an excellent venue for evening brainstorming. This way we can provide a flexible and elegant setting for every kind of requirement.

Wellness and spa experiences
Our wellness and spa area welcomes guests with an outdoor and an indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and a variety of massages and refreshing treatments. Exclusive use of the wellness area is also available outside opening hours for an additional fee.

Accommodation at the Főnix Resort
The castle welcomes guests with 36 rooms and a spacious suite. Every room offers a beautiful view of the park with its ancient trees. Our petit, standard and superior rooms can comfortably accommodate a total of 57 people. For corporate events, we offer single occupancy for 43 people.

Gastronomic experiences
Our restaurant and spacious terrace offer a wide range of gastronomic experiences. The option of cooking together and menus tailored to corporate needs provide participants with a unique culinary experience.

Additional programmes and leisure activities
The castle's 7-hectare park with ancient trees invites guests on pleasant walks, where the closeness of nature offers true relaxation. As a unique experience, we offer horse-drawn carriage rides in the count's carriage below the Csitári Hills. The parlour games in the cellar – darts, billiards, table tennis and table football – provide informal entertainment, while wine tastings and wine dinners in the castle await those interested in gastronomy. The park is also suitable for cauldron cooking and cooking competitions. Lovers of active leisure can take part in hiking and cycling tours. For thrill-seekers, go-karting at the nearby Palóc Ring, Hungary's longest rental go-kart track, offers an unforgettable experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Főnix Resort, where the calm, inspiring atmosphere and our unique services provide the perfect conditions for your programme! Tell us what you need, and you can safely leave the organisation to us!
