Three Corners Hotel Anna officially reopened its doors on 10 April with an unconventional “Back Together” party. One of the popular hotels in Budapest’s Palace District (Palotanegyed) underwent a complete renovation over the past year – the modernisation brought not only additional capacity and an aesthetic refresh but also functional improvements, resulting in a colourful, open, automated and green place to stay.

The aim was to create a “living, breathing” hotel where modern travellers do not just stay but are truly present, in line with the “living space” concept, which takes the urban hotel experience to a new level.

Thanks to the extension of the building, the three-star superior hotel has gained a new floor and can now welcome guests in 50 rooms.

Automated comfort, round-the-clock services
One of the key elements of the renovation was the expansion of digital convenience services, available to guests at any time of day. The honesty bar in the lobby is open 24 hours a day, complemented by the brand-new, multifunctional Smart Service Station.

From this modern vending machine, guests can get hot and cold drinks and snacks, as well as various practical travel accessories such as chargers and hygiene products. The Smart Service Station has been placed in the hotel’s newly created winter garden – this weather-independent communal space, surrounded by greenery, offers a pleasant, colourful meeting place all year round. The cash machine (ATM) in the lobby adds further convenience.

Sustainability in operations
Environmental awareness was a priority throughout the development. The solar panels installed on the roof allow the hotel to cover a significant proportion of its energy needs from renewable sources. Modern heating and cooling systems, together with energy-efficient upgraded guest rooms, significantly reduce the hotel’s ecological footprint overall.

In the spirit of environmental awareness, the hotel has also installed a filtered water station that guests can use free of charge. Anyone without their own water bottle can buy one at reception. Filtered water is also provided in the guest rooms, significantly reducing the consumption of bottled water.

The hotel lobby now functions as a community hub – a meeting point, relaxation zone and space for inspiration all in one. The colourful, youthful interior design solutions – the work of Csilla Kelemen – create a pleasant, homely feel.

Local communities were actively involved in the transformation: the members of Filip, the group of artists who took part in the design, used their unique vision and creative energy to create a visual experience that is at once contemporary, urban and friendly.

The new garden and green spaces created in the inner courtyard offer a true downtown oasis – this is where the “Back Together” party was held, at which invited partners celebrated the hotel’s return to the lifeblood of the capital’s tourism with a stylish food truck show.
