Day Holiday's thirtieth birthday

Day Holiday Kft. was born in May 1995 in the small office of the Marxim pizzeria, one of the first players on the Hungarian event management market. Before embarking on the great adventure, the founders travelled all over Hungary and thoroughly mapped the country’s hotel offering. The momentum has continued ever since, as borne out by more than a thousand tried-and-tested venues and 35,000 successful events.

Let’s see what else happened that month:
• The Java programming language also began its triumphant journey at this time.
• Europe commemorated the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
• The signatory states extended the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty indefinitely, providing a little calm in an uncertain world.
• Mel Gibson’s film “Braveheart” premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival.
• “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow and French advertising executive Michel Stern said “I do” in Malibu.
• Balamurali Ambati became the world’s youngest doctor, graduating at the age of 17.

Do look back in June too, because there is more to come – just as in the Day Holiday story.
