The Grand Hotel Esztergom****SUPERIOR opened its doors in the summer of 2021 in the heart of Esztergom, on the picturesque Prímás Island. Our hotel offers 131 tastefully furnished rooms and 18 spacious luxury suites on 4 floors, some of which have a magnificent view of the Esztergom Basilica.
The hotel’s conference and meeting rooms are of varying sizes, with built-in technology to meet all your needs, and can be used for a wide range of corporate events. And the 700 m2 recreation area is the perfect place for team-building programmes or leisure activities.
Presentation of the rooms
For our events, we usually book double superior rooms (single or double occupancy) for our guests. If you would like to book a different room type, this is possible for an extra charge, subject to our capacity. Our room rates vary dynamically depending on availability, and we will always provide you with accurate information on our current rates when you request a specific date.
The room rate includes the following services:
– Accommodation in superior rooms.
– A rich buffet breakfast in the hotel’s exclusive restaurant.
– Access to the Aquasziget Adventure Spa (150 metres from the hotel and within walking distance).
– Use of bathrobe and slippers.
– Free use of the underground parking garage during the period of occupancy, according to the number of rooms occupied.
– Free broadband internet access is available.
Tourist tax (payable by all guests over 18 years of age per night) is NOT included in the room rate.

Rooms can be booked from 14:00 and are available until 10:00 on the day of departure. If you require earlier arrival or later departure, please ask for our individual offer, which we can provide depending on our capacity.

Events
All our rooms have natural light, air conditioning, lighting and most rooms have garden connections. Our room rates include basic conference technology (full HD led wall in the Grand room, multi-function touch screen smart displays in the meeting rooms, conference sound system, remote controlled blackout) and a once daily rearrangement.
Room rates are valid until midnight on the day of the event, after which an extension will be charged. In the case of a separate room dinner, a 2-hour break between the conference and the dinner is required for the rebuild, please plan your programme accordingly.
Dining options
Our restaurant offers both local flavours and international trends, while our show kitchen gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the restaurant, making the experience even more exciting. Guests can enjoy a delicious lunch or a cosy dinner in an elegant yet friendly atmosphere with exciting interior design.
The restaurant’s spacious 70-seat barbecue terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, with a barbecue terrace, cocktails and green surroundings to complete the ambience. The opening hours of our terrace depend on the weather.
We also think about our gluten and lactose intolerant guests when creating our dishes, and our colleagues are happy to provide information on the different dishes. If the number of food-sensitive persons exceeds 10% of the group, a surcharge will be applied, calculated on a case-by-case basis. We pay special attention to our food-sensitive guests, and allergens are clearly indicated in our menus. Please indicate any food sensitivities/common dietary requirements in the rooming table at least 10 days prior to arrival.

We can send you a prepared menu on request, and can accommodate specific requests for changes for people with food intolerances and those on a plant-based diet. Custom menu, min. 30% surcharge, in all cases the price depends on the requirements. Unless the hotel is full, guests can choose from a buffet lunch or buffet dinner in our show kitchen or à la carte, instead of a buffet lunch or buffet dinner. During special festive periods, we also offer buffet and main meals served seasonally, with prices slightly different from the standard. It is not possible to transfer the kitchen or import food from outside the hotel.
Our coffee breaks can be tailored to the group’s needs, with a variety of content to suit all tastes. We have popular coffee breaks with familiar content, which our customers are free to add colour and variety with a variety of additional products.
Wellness facilities and/or other services
In our Basilica Day Spa our guests have the opportunity to relax in relaxed conditions while admiring the fabulous view of Esztergom.
The Basilica Day Spa is a small, exclusive space that, due to its size, accepts a limited number of guests, ensuring a relaxed environment. The services and the tranquillity of the sunny terrace are uninterrupted by the adult-friendly nature of the area.

The Adventure Spa is located next to our hotel, just a 1-minute walk away. The spa consists of an indoor leisure area, an outdoor beach, wellness and beauty and fitness facilities.
