Lázár Lovaspark

Our equestrian park, surrounded by the protected nature area of the Gödöllő Hills, has been welcoming guests for 20 years.

Set in green, wooded surroundings close to Budapest, our nine-hectare equestrian park is a sought-after event venue. Our central complex of buildings houses three csárdas (traditional Hungarian inns) in different styles and the Hunter’s Private Room. Depending on the number of guests, the rooms can be connected, but each has its own entrance, toilets, terrace and car park.

It offers a wonderful setting for families with children looking for a fun day out, for companies as a team-building or family day venue, and for young couples holding their “dream wedding”. We are also often chosen for celebrating birthdays and family occasions in a homely setting, or simply for a hearty, home-style lunch.

Every Saturday and Sunday at noon, we welcome guests to an unlimited buffet lunch in our renovated Veranda Csárda or on our spacious terraces. Throughout the day, we entertain young and old with a colourful programme: a horse show evoking Hungarian equestrian traditions, carriage rides through the forest, pony rides, a playground and folk games.

In our small animal park, just like in “grandma’s farmyard”, visitors can get to know native farm animals. Our new museum, the Lazareum, uses spectacular films and an exhibition to present the history of the carriage, Hungarian equestrian sport and the sporting careers of the Lázár brothers.
