Welcome to the 4-star Hotel President, located in the heart of Budapest on one of its most elegant streets, in the middle of the business, government and historic district, right next to the Hungarian National Bank and the Embassy of the United States, a few hundred metres from St Stephen's Basilica, Parliament and the shopping streets. These major sights are within a few minutes' walk of Hotel President. Guests of Hotel President Budapest can relax in 150 individually styled rooms that meet every need, complemented by a wide-ranging and delicious buffet breakfast.

Guests can use the services of our President Wellness area free of charge: our infrared and Finnish saunas and our fitness room.

Our Intermezzo restaurant serves Hungarian and international dishes, while our Intermezzo rooftop terrace offers a fantastic 360-degree panorama of Budapest's main sights; in summer we welcome guests there with delicious cocktails and light dishes, and in winter guests can eat and drink in a heated marquee.

That is why we provide guests with free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and free access to our wellness area. The Intermezzo Rooftop Terrace, with its unique 360-degree panorama of Budapest, becomes a cocktail terrace in summer.

Standard single room

The single rooms of Hotel President Budapest offer excellent comfort for guests travelling alone and for business travellers during their stay. The interior design of our single rooms is similar to that of our Standard double rooms. The average size of the single rooms is 15 m2. The hotel has a total of 11 single rooms.
The modern bathrooms have a shower cubicle, and a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror and high-quality Dead Sea toiletries await our guests.
For guests' comfort, every single room has individually adjustable air conditioning, soundproof windows, international TV channels, a coffee and tea maker, free Wi-Fi internet access, a desk with a chair, a key-card security door and a safe.

Standard double room

The standard double rooms of Hotel President Budapest offer excellent comfort for couples and business travellers during their stay. The interiors of our double-bed rooms are also designed in a classic style. The average size of the Standard double-bed rooms is 18 m2. The hotel has a total of 58 Standard double-bed rooms. Most of our double-bed rooms overlook a quiet street or the covered inner atrium.
The modern bathrooms have a shower cubicle, and a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror and high-quality Dead Sea toiletries await our guests.
For guests' comfort, every double-bed room has individually adjustable air conditioning, soundproof windows, international TV channels, a coffee and tea maker, free Wi-Fi internet access, a desk with a chair, a key-card security door and a safe. Some of our double-bed rooms also have an extra bed.
Our Standard twin rooms have a minimalist design, and thanks to the wallpaper depicting St Stephen's Basilica, guests immediately feel they are in the centre of Budapest. The average size of the Standard twin rooms is 18 m2. The hotel has a total of 24 Standard twin rooms.
Our Standard twin rooms are furnished with two single beds. Most twin rooms overlook a quiet inner garden.

Superior double room

The Superior rooms were recently created in the hotel's new wing, with a youthful, dynamic boutique design. For guests' comfort, complimentary mineral water is placed in the room on the day of arrival. The average size of the Superior rooms is 18m2. There are a total of 42 Superior rooms at Hotel President Budapest.

Junior suite

Spacious and comfortable junior suites have recently been created in the hotel, with either a classic or a youthful, dynamic design. The average size of the junior suites is 29m2. A total of 15 junior suites can be booked. Most junior suites overlook a quiet street, while some overlook the glass-covered atrium.
In addition to the double bed, every junior suite is furnished with a pull-out sofa bed suitable even for an adult, so they can accommodate families with up to 2 children, or 3 adults, for a minimal supplement.

Event options

Hotel President's conference and meeting rooms, which can accommodate a total of 200 participants, offer the perfect venue for events.
The Prague Room, which holds 150 people, and the panoramic Budapest Room – which also has natural daylight – are perfect venues for standing receptions, conferences and other events.
The Vienna Room is an ideal venue for smaller meetings and negotiations. The interior design of our rooms, professional service, state-of-the-art technical equipment and our excellent kitchen ensure the success of events held at Hotel President.

Dining

Intermezzo Rooftop Terrace

Hotel President's open-air terrace with an all-round panorama offers a breathtaking view of the city and of the Hungarian State Treasury with its Zsolnay-tiled roof, right next door to the hotel. In summer, the terrace becomes one of the city's most special restaurants. The Intermezzo Rooftop Terrace welcomes guests with light dishes and grilled food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a wide selection of cocktails.

Every hotel guest will find their favourites among the dishes of our varied buffet breakfast, served in the breakfast restaurant on floor -1. The wide range is enhanced by a selection of high-quality bakery products, freshly fried bacon, sliced salmon, a seasonal fruit platter, ice-cold sparkling wine and a muesli corner. For guests with special dietary requirements, we provide rice milk and organic soya milk, as well as gluten-free bread.

Intermezzo Café

Located on the ground floor of the hotel, Intermezzo Restaurant & Bar welcomes guests every day from 10:00 to 14:00 with Hungarian and international dishes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a wide selection of cocktails. At lunchtime we offer a 2–3-course business lunch in a central location, at a good price and in excellent quality, while in the evenings we provide à la carte dining and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a discreet setting.

Wellness facilities and/or other services

A gym and saunas (Finnish and infrared) ensure guests' extra comfort and rejuvenation. Guests can request a bathrobe at reception, and extra towels, changing rooms and showers with lockers are also available. Our wellness area plays a special role in restoring the natural balance of body and soul. Please note that our swimming pool is unfortunately out of service at present.
