Hilton Budapest

The five-star Hilton Budapest hotel opened on 1 January 1977 in the Buda Castle District. Thanks to the hotel’s ingenious and careful design, the 13th-century Dominican cloister and monastery that originally stood on the site became part of the interior of the modern Hilton Budapest. The hotel stands right next to the Hungarian Coronation Church (Matthias Church) and the Fisherman’s Bastion.

Rooms

The hotel offers 299 renovated, spacious Hilton guest rooms and 23 beautifully furnished suites. Home comforts in the rooms include three ISDN telephone lines, wireless broadband Internet access, an answering machine, PC connection, bathroom, bathrobe, radio, interactive TV with satellite channels and pay-per-view films, minibar, in-room safe and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The Danube rooms (Hilton Guest Room “PLUS”) offer stunning views of the Danube and the Pest side of the city.
The Executive Floor on the hotel’s 3rd floor provides personalised hospitality for travellers who appreciate extra comfort. The rooms on this floor are luxuriously appointed, with tea/coffee-making and ironing facilities,
and the bathrooms have a bathtub and a separate shower cubicle.

Events

The conference and ballroom, designed in classic English style, can accommodate up to 660 people at a time. In addition to the ballroom, the hotel has 20 conference rooms. High-speed wireless broadband internet access is available on request throughout the hotel.
