Haris Park

Haris Park is Buda’s new meeting place, where a garden restaurant sits alongside versatile exhibition halls. It is a true community space which, true to its history, is a favourite haunt of Buda’s intellectuals and middle classes, a popular restaurant with local residents, and home to elegant weddings, exhibitions, concerts and events. Haris Park offers the perfect venue for any kind of event: it is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the centre of Budapest, yet with its vast garden and impressive ensemble of buildings it exudes the calm atmosphere of a 19th-century castle.

Our event rooms:

Ballroom

The Ballroom is a 320 m2, air-conditioned room with a 9 m ceiling height and natural daylight, divided by two side aisles. For a gala dinner we can comfortably seat 170 guests; its standing reception capacity is approx. 250 people, and approx. 220 people can be seated in theatre layout.

Chapel

The Chapel is a 70 m2 room with a sacred atmosphere and a stage, which can accommodate 60 people in theatre layout. Invited guests can gather in the adjacent lounge of the Bubbles Bar, which is the same size, and order drinks at the bar.

Garden

In front of the listed ensemble of buildings lies our park with its ancient trees, suitable for garden standing receptions for 150 people, wedding ceremonies or a smaller barbecue party. In a way that is almost unique in Budapest, our park welcomes guests with small garden pavilions, varied planting and professional sound equipment – and in bad weather we can provide a space of the same capacity inside the building.

Bubbles

In autumn, a refined, champagne-themed piano bar overlooking the garden opens in the Chapel’s foyer. It serves as a gathering place during events, but can also operate independently, hosting clubs and private events.

Breakout Rooms

On the first floor there is a 70 m2 and a 50 m2 breakout room, where participants of a conference held in the Ballroom can split into groups for separate discussions, or which can be hired as independent units.
Both rooms open onto a roof terrace with a magnificent view.

Suite

Haris Park is sometimes called a “one-room hotel”: the tower houses a 55 m2 suite (with its own living room, bedroom and bathroom) for the comfort of newly-weds or the guest of honour at a business event. Its balcony looks into the Ballroom, which makes for a special attraction!

CATERING

At Haris Park we cater for events ourselves – the in-house kitchen, which can serve 300 guests, is suitable for any kind of reception and for served or buffet dinners, and we can also treat guests in the garden with a barbecue party or a finger-food standing reception (flying service).
