The Grand Hotel Esztergom****SUPERIOR opened its doors in summer 2021 in the heart of Esztergom, on picturesque Prímás Island. Our hotel offers 131 tastefully furnished rooms and 18 spacious luxury suites on 4 floors, some of them with a magnificent view of Esztergom Basilica.

The hotel's conference and meeting rooms of various sizes, with built-in technology to meet every need, can host the widest range of corporate events. The 700 m2 recreation area is a perfect venue for team-building programmes or leisure activities.

Rooms

For our events, we generally book our superior twin rooms (single or double occupancy) for overnight guests. If you would like to book a different room type, this is possible for an extra charge, subject to availability. Our room rates vary dynamically depending on occupancy; we always provide accurate information on current rates in response to quote requests for specific dates.

The room rate includes the following services:

• Accommodation in superior rooms.
• Rich buffet breakfast in the hotel's exclusive restaurant.
• Admission to the Aquasziget Adventure Spa (located 150 metres from the hotel and reachable on foot).
• Use of bathrobe and slippers.
• Free use of the underground car park during the stay, according to the number of rooms booked.
• Free broadband internet access.

The tourist tax (payable per night by every guest over the age of 18) is NOT included in the room rate.

Rooms are available from 14:00 and may be used until 10:00 on the day of departure. If you require earlier arrival or later departure, please ask for our individual quote, which we can provide subject to
availability.

Event options

All our rooms have natural daylight, air conditioning and lighting technology, and most of them open directly onto the garden. Our room rates include basic conference technology (full HD LED wall in the Grand Room, multifunctional touchscreen smart displays in the meeting rooms, conference sound system, remote-controlled blackout) as well as one rearrangement per day.

Room rates are valid until midnight at the latest on the day of the event; after that, a room hire extension is charged. For a dinner held in a function room, 2 hours are needed to reset the room between the conference and the dinner, so please plan your programme accordingly.

Dining

Our restaurant's offer combines Hungarian flavours and international trends, while our show kitchen offers a look behind the scenes, making the experience even more exciting. Guests can enjoy a delicious lunch or a cosy dinner in an elegant yet friendly setting full of exciting interior design.

The restaurant's spacious grill terrace, seating 70, is the place to enjoy the sunshine, with the grill, cocktails and green surroundings completing the atmosphere. The terrace's opening hours depend on the weather.

We also think of our gluten- and lactose-intolerant guests when creating our dishes, and our colleagues are happy to provide information about the various dishes. If the number of guests with food intolerances exceeds 10% of the group, a surcharge applies, calculated individually. We pay particular attention to guests with food intolerances, and allergens are clearly indicated on our menus. Please indicate any food intolerances/special diets in the spreadsheet containing the rooming list, no later than 10 days before arrival.

When several groups dine together, the main meal may be chosen by the larger group or by whichever group requests it first. A detailed, pre-prepared
menu can be sent on request; individual changes to it can be accommodated for guests with food intolerances and those on a plant-based diet. A bespoke menu can be put together for a surcharge of at least 30%; the price always depends on the requirements. If hotel occupancy does not justify a buffet, guests can choose dishes to suit their preferences from our show kitchen or à la carte instead of a buffet lunch or buffet dinner. During major festive periods we also offer seasonal buffet and served main meals, the price of which may differ slightly from the standard. It is not possible to hand over the kitchen or to bring in outside food at our hotel.

Our coffee breaks can be put together according to the group's wishes, with a variety of contents to satisfy every need. We have popular, tried-and-tested coffee break selections, which clients are free to enhance and vary with a range of additional products.

Wellness facilities and/or other services

In our Bazilika Day Spa, guests can relax in peaceful surroundings while admiring the fabulous view of Esztergom.

The Bazilika Day Spa is a smaller, exclusive space which, due to its size, admits a limited number of guests, ensuring a peaceful environment. As the area is adult-friendly, guests can enjoy the services and the tranquillity of the sunny terrace undisturbed.

Facilities: panoramic jacuzzi, private jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, bio sauna, panoramic relaxation room, Day Spa bar.

Subject to availability, guests can use the hotel's Bazilika Day Spa for an extra charge. Opening hours: 9:00 – 20:30

AQUASZIGET ADVENTURE SPA

The Adventure Spa is right next to our hotel, just a 1-minute walk away. The spa consists of an indoor leisure area, an outdoor lido, and wellness, beauty and fitness
sections. There is also a restaurant and café in the building, and a grill terrace operates in summer. Admission to the Adventure Spa is included in the hotel room rate.

PEPPER ADVENTURE KINGDOM

Pepper's futuristic adventure kingdom awaits everyone aged 0 to 99 on more than 700 square metres at the Grand Hotel Esztergom. This adventure park combines active relaxation, movement, sport and play, making the time spent here an unforgettable adventure for children and adults alike.

Activities for adult groups:

Laser Maze room, Ninja Warrior course, table football, table tennis tables, air hockey table, billiards, darts, virtual corner.
