On 14 September, the E Street Parade will showcase the latest innovations of the industry and the future of electric vehicles and sustainable transport, along with remarkable electric cars and motorsport highlights.
The free event will offer a wide range of programmes. Among other things, there will be an exhibition of electric vehicles, presenting the latest cars, motorcycles and alternative-drive vehicles.
Special cars and extreme racing vehicles will also be on display on the day. The Go-Kart Slalom Grand Prix will take place too – the debut race of this new discipline, which also serves as a pre-selection for the junior category of the 2026 FIA Motorsport Games. In addition, visitors can attend panel discussions and talks featuring automotive experts, racing drivers and innovators.
Guests at the event will include Nick Heidfeld, former BMW and Renault Formula 1 driver and former Formula E driver. And, for the first time since 2009, Sebastian Buemi – multiple Formula E and WEC champion and four-time Le Mans winner – returns to Szeged. The organisers have also thought of families: even the youngest visitors can try out electric go-karts and motorcycles.
At the E Street Parade, which runs from 9 am to 6 pm and is mainly supported by the Municipality of Szeged, the car exhibition and accompanying programmes will be held on Széchenyi tér in Szeged, while the demonstrations and races will take place on the city’s Tisza riverside, on Huszár Mátyás rakpart.
