Holiday Inn by IHG has announced that it has signed an agreement with Evergreen Office Kft. as investor and with Hotel & More Group, which will operate the hotel, to create the Holiday Inn Szeged. The 159-room hotel is expected to open in 2027.
The Holiday Inn Szeged will be located on the edge of the city centre, on the banks of the Tisza, next to the city’s largest park and the promenades laid out in the floodplain forests. The property will be easily accessible by both public transport and car, and the city centre will be within walking distance. The hotel will have seven storeys, with a restaurant, bar and wellness area, as well as its own car park with ample space for both cars and coaches. The hotel will be just 200 metres from the nearby thermal baths.

The new hotel joins the globally growing portfolio of Holiday Inn by IHG, which currently comprises 1,239 operating hotels worldwide, 296 of them in Europe – including in the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Turkey.
