Of these, 97 are standard double hotel rooms, 25 are spacious air-conditioned superior rooms, 2 of which have accessible bathrooms (suitable for disabled guests with an attendant). Some of the modernly furnished rooms with showers offer a wonderful view of the Castle Garden, the boating lake and the castle. Each room has a colour TV and telephone, and a small fridge can be rented for a fee. Our superior and accessible superior rooms offer our guests enhanced services: a DVD player and in-room safe. Full non-smoking floors and rooms are available for our visitors. The three-star section of our hotel does not have a balcony.
Our four-star Dürer Wingoffers 173 standard double rooms, 4 junior suites, 5 large suites with castle views and 4 rooms with disabled access (with specially designed bathrooms). Some of the rooms have a balcony with a shower and wonderful views of the
overlooking the Castle Garden and the boating lake. All rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with LCD TV, minibar, telephone, in-room safe, and all rooms are equipped with modern amenities. Smoke-free floors and rooms await our guests.

The Orchidea Restaurant with boutique-style furnishings can seat 300 people, while the retro-style Nostalgia Restaurant can seat 160,
and in which, in addition to Hungarian specialities, our guests can also get acquainted with the flavours of international cuisine and local specialities. The chef’s offer includes dishes typical of our region, vegetarian dishes, but our colleagues also try to meet the wishes of guests with special dietary requirements. A rich breakfast and dinner buffet offers something for everyone. In our Violin Café we offer a wide range of coffee specialities and excellent drinks, as well as specialities from the Hungarian wine regions!

The Hunguest Hotel Erkel’s Hunyadi Mátyás Hall, with its 390 square metres of conference space, can accommodate up to 290 people, and the Hunyadi Salon (the hall’s lobby) can accommodate up to 100 people for theatre-style seating. More than 50 years old, the Gyula Castle Baths are located in the 200-year-old park of the former Almássy Castle, an 8.5 hectare nature reserve, which is distinguished by 50 species of evergreens, 200,50 deciduous trees and shrubs, 50,000 square metres of manicured lawns and more than 20,000 colourful flowers.
At the end of 2013, the Castle Baths were extended with a new adventure complex of more than 6,000 square metres, with a water surface of almost 900 square metres. This is the new AQUAPALOTA!
The Castle Baths (without the AquaPalota) boast 5,000 square metres of water surface and 19 indoor and outdoor pools. In addition to the various spa and adventure pools, the 50-metre competition pool, which can also be used in winter, children can enjoy a separate water paradise, while adults can enjoy the Wellness Centre and the Castello Sauna Park. In addition to the 72 degrees Celsius thermal water, which rises from a depth of 2005 metres, the Castle Baths ‘ 2000 square metre therapeutic department and the rheumatology clinic provide professional medical treatment for our guests. Alkaline hydrogen carbonate-chloride medicinal water is particularly effective in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders of abrasive origin, local nerve disorders, stomach disorders of acid origin, gynaecological disorders and rehabilitation after accidents and operations.
