Unique in the Tokaj wine region is the château-style estate centre, a dream of the Count Degenfeld family, which is a close combination of castle, vineyard and winery.
The four-star, air-conditioned Gróf Degenfeld Kastélyszálló, located in the middle of the Terézia Garden, in a picturesque setting among old trees, offers twenty double rooms and a suite for guests who wish to relax. The comfortable and beautiful armchairs, antique furniture, old paintings and Venetian chandeliers evoke a 19th century atmosphere. Wine tastings in the wine cellar are available for purchase at the reception.
Restaurant
In the restaurant, which can seat up to 60 people, our chef prepares dishes that match the quality of the estate’s wines. The kitchen technology is international in nature, and the ingredients and flavour combinations are basically local, but for a gastronomic twist, our chef is also brave enough to use ingredients and flavours that are common beyond Hungary’s borders. The menu is regularly renewed, and the wines are paired with special care, even modifying the recipe for perfect harmony. For our wine dinners, the dishes are specially adapted to our wines.

Our air-conditioned conference room for twenty-five people is equipped with technical equipment (flipchart, projector, big screen TV), making it suitable for private company meetings, small management conferences, or even individual professional training courses.

Suite
The hotel’s spacious suites with large terraces and majestic views of the castle gardens are ideal for those who prefer a little extravagance, and offer comfortable accommodation for larger families.
In the bathroom of the suite there is a bath tub and a shower cabin, and the suite can be equipped with extra beds on request.
Superior
Our Superior rooms are on the first floor, with burgundy upholstery and empire-style furnishings and high ceilings. Some of the rooms with a garden view and a bathtub can accommodate extra beds on request.
Standard
Standard rooms with a bathtub garden view are decorated in an empire style with a predominant green colour scheme, and some rooms can accommodate extra beds on request.
