The Hunguest Hotel Freya is located in the centre of Zalakaros, next to the spa, in a well-kept park. The hotel is very popular among both older people seeking recovery and regeneration and younger people looking for an active holiday, as its building is directly connected to the Zalakaros Spa, so even in winter the spa and the indoor pools are quickly and conveniently accessible.
WELLNESS & SPA
The Zalakaros Spa, founded in 1965, has become one of the largest spas in Hungary, with more than 5000 m2 of water available to guests in summer, of which approx. 1 500 m2 of water surface covered. The spa has been completely renovated in recent years. In addition to therapeutic services, it has become a haven of wellness. The Zalakaros Spa is Hungary’s first indoor adventure pool, where 360 m2 of water and 11 different attractions guarantee a real aquatic adventure and fun. There is a children’s pool for the little ones. The spa has indoor and outdoor pools, and a swimming pool with normal water for sports in summer. Spa guests can enjoy a variety of treatments.
ROOMS
The six-storey hotel has 78 superior double rooms, 10 superior double rooms with bunk beds, 62 superior double rooms with extra beds, air-conditioned rooms and 12 apartments, all in a pleasant Mediterranean style with a family atmosphere. Each room has a bathroom with bathtub and a balcony.
GASTRONOMY AND EVENTS
The hotel features a lobby bar and a 400-seat air-conditioned restaurant with Hungarian and international cuisine, buffet breakfast and dinner. Our hotel also offers a 150-seat conference room for guests and companies who wish to organise their events in a pleasant, relaxing environment.
