VILLABOGArT Wedding and Event Venue – the estate of silence in Somogy.

VILLABOGArT and the Maison BOGArT Guesthouses, the Festetics-Inkey Castle – currently in ruins but under renovation – with its castle park, and the Granary and the Veteran Hall as huge event spaces, make a wonderful venue for training sessions, meetings and team-building events where togetherness and retreat, the tranquillity of nature and physical activity combine to provide the perfect escape from the hectic everyday.

• The special aura and tranquillity of the Festetics Castle Park, the closeness of nature and the beautiful fishing lake provide true relaxation,
• The smaller part of the elongated Veteran Garage has been converted into a meeting room with all the necessary technical facilities, while the larger part also makes an excellent space for automotive events;
• By the end of February this year our rooms will be AIR-CONDITIONED, and since 2025 the Granary has had underfloor heating and heating/cooling air conditioning;
• Our tasty home-style breakfast gets the day off to a fantastic start;
• And genuine, flavoursome Somogy cuisine (game stew cooked in a cauldron, cakes, syrups and jams made from our own fruit, etc. .:-) crowns the experience – all this along the renovated Route 67, between Balatonlelle and Kaposvár, nestled in the gentle Somogy hills, 1.5 hours from Budapest.

Accommodation:

1. VILLABOGArT Guesthouse: Thanks to an extensive renovation, the former estate steward’s house is now home to an impressive, one-of-a-kind guesthouse with a total of 10 rooms for 25 people in all. The apartment with its own entrance also has a sauna.

2. Maison BOGArT: The rooms of the former gardener’s lodge are youthful, yet the spirit of the past can still be felt in them. Its rooms are individually styled and offer a wonderful view of the castle park and the castle. The “L”-shaped building wraps around a huge terrace. It can accommodate a total of 18 people, and the cosy terrace even offers the opportunity for a barbecue.

3. Within the village, a further 5 Village Guesthouses await guests, perfect for families: each has 2 rooms and a bathroom, and one of them also has a kitchen with a traditional oven.

4. In addition, there are further comfortable places to stay with bathrooms “scattered” across the estate, e.g. the Lake Houses on the shore of the fishing lake: atmospheric thatched houses with their own stretch of shore and a jetty onto the fishing lake, from where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets😊

• A treasure-hunt adventure tour in the 17-hectare forest;
• A torchlit tour of our genuine count’s castle;
• Clay pigeon shooting, experience shooting or skeet shooting in the neighbouring village;
• Racing around on quad bikes nearby;
• A car expedition through the Somogy hills, with an orienteering race and tricky tasks to complete;
• The lessons and values of sport – a motivational training and team-building programme in one, with sport and music – with Olympic champion modern pentathlete and coach Attila Mizsér!
