Szépalma Hotel is located on the former stud farm estate of the Esterházy family, in the forests of the High Bakony, near Kőris Hill. On the winding forest road leading up from Zirc, we almost begin to wonder whether we are heading the right way, when, emerging from the forest, we are greeted by the sight of grey cattle and horses grazing peacefully in huge paddocks. Szépalma is a special hideaway in the Bakony. It does not glitter or show off. Inside and out, it is characterised by understated elegance and noble simplicity. The hotel's private rooms can host meetings, seminars and conferences for 15 to 140 people, while the Zsiványtanya next to the main building and the nearby csárda (country inn) offer further options for events with special requirements and group programmes.
