Prónay-kastély, close to Budapest and the airport, stands on the main street of Alsópetény, opposite the church hill. Among the noble manor houses of Nógrád, the fate of the Alsópetény castle was not decay but renewal.
The fully restored listed ensemble and the modern hotel wing welcome guests looking to rest and unwind all year round and, with their nostalgic, old-world atmosphere, serve as a venue for wonderful weddings, intimate family and friends' gatherings, as well as training sessions, conferences, professional and cultural events.
Accommodation
Prónay-kastély's 6 suites and 25 modern hotel rooms embody classic elegance and refinement. During the complete renovation, carefully sourced antique furniture, sumptuous textiles and carpets were brought into the suites, and the walls are adorned with works by 19th- and 20th-century Hungarian painters. Our modern hotel rooms are characterised by clean lines, while soothing colours and high-quality mattresses guarantee complete relaxation.
