Káli Art Inn is a premium boutique hotel in the village of Köveskál, in the Káli Basin of the Balaton Uplands. The venue offers a thoughtfully designed, structured setting for small executive training sessions, strategy workshops and confidential corporate programmes.

We host one company at a time. The entire estate is available for exclusive use, with no parallel events. Every aspect of our operation is geared towards focused work and seamless delivery.

It is 170 km from Budapest, approximately a 2-hour drive.
A private car park with 20 spaces is available, with room for coaches.

Estate layout and use of space

Within the 1.5-hectare enclosed garden, 7 separate buildings form a single, coherent whole. The rooms are located partly in renovated houses more than 200 years old and partly in the newly built pavilion wing. The restaurant is housed in the former pharmacy building, and the mini spa with its panoramic sauna has a building of its own. The event spaces are separate, dedicated areas.

The workspace, dining, rest and wellness functions are separate yet connected, all within a few minutes’ walk of one another. Moving between the spaces gives the day a natural rhythm, and each change of setting brings a clear shift of focus, while the team remains within a clearly laid-out, enclosed estate throughout.

Rooms

A total of 16 rooms are available:

• 8 twin rooms
• 8 double rooms

Maximum capacity:

• 16 people in single occupancy
• 24 people in double occupancy

All accommodation is on a single level.
Broadband Wi-Fi coverage is provided across the entire estate.
A desk can be placed in every room on request.

The smaller capacity ensures that the whole team stays in one place, while every participant has a calm space of their own.

Event spaces

Káli Art Inn takes a flexible approach to the use of space. Furniture and technical equipment are always prepared by prior arrangement, tailored to the nature of the programme.

Our dedicated training spaces:

• Patika Loft – up to 16 people
• Garden Pavilion – up to 12 people, with direct access to the garden
• Main building living room – for smaller strategy meetings

The room is ready by the start of the programme, with the agreed layout, a comfortable temperature, adjusted lighting and all equipment prepared.

Gastronomy

The restaurant is a defining feature of the estate. The kitchen, housed in the former pharmacy building, is led by its own chef, who puts together the menus based on the programme structure, the make-up of the group and any individual requirements discussed in advance.

Mealtimes are fitted around the daily schedule. Lighter lunches support concentration in the afternoon, while served dinners provide a structured setting for conversation together. Coffee breaks follow the rhythm of the programme.

Full board can be provided:

• flexible handling of dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, allergens)
• dinner served on the terrace in good weather

Every aspect of the operation – the kitchen, service, use of space and organisation – is geared towards the success of the programme. The in-house team works to the schedule agreed in advance, ensuring a balanced daily programme and seamless delivery.

Drawing on the region’s winemaking traditions, a wine-tasting programme can also be arranged with local wineries. The tasting can fit into the professional or informal parts of the training, in a structured or relaxed format, as the team prefers.
