Hotel Helikon reopened its doors to guests in autumn 2022. Right on the shore of Lake Balaton, with 176 fully renovated rooms and a modern conference area, it is a worthy venue for conferences, corporate events, functions and training courses.
Location of the hotel/restaurant/event venue
Our conference rooms are located on the ground and first floors of the hotel. Our room with a panoramic view of Lake Balaton and its adjoining terrace offer a beautiful view that is guaranteed to make your event unforgettable. Thanks to the layout of the conference centre, several events can even run in parallel. On request, event catering and coffee breaks are served in our conference rooms, the conference lobby or the hotel restaurant. Free parking is available for guests in the hotel's own car park, which also offers electric car charging and coach parking.

Enjoy the Balaton panorama from one of our rooms or suites, which meet every modern expectation. The hotel has 176 rooms, divided into 5 categories according to size and facilities. Most rooms can take extra beds for one or two children or can be interconnected on request. The rooms offer a magnificent view of Lake Balaton from the balcony or through the panoramic window.

The hotel has 4 event rooms, easily accessible via a dedicated conference entrance and lift. The Balaton-facing windows of our main hall, which can be divided as required, and its adjoining panoramic terrace offer a unique view and exclusive quality on Keszthely Bay.
Dining
The hotel restaurant serves guests the most popular dishes of Hungarian and international cuisine. Our spacious, air-conditioned and tastefully furnished restaurant welcomes guests all day, where they can admire the Balaton panorama alongside fine food. For conference guests we prepare a range of coffee break and catering offers, taking individual requirements into account.
Wellness facilities and/or other services
Our private beach and wellness services are available to all guests. Escape to an island of tranquillity and enjoy an experience to last a lifetime! Our three-level wellness area features pools with various leisure elements, as well as a sauna, steam bath, infrared sauna, salt room and plunge pool.
Helikon Tennis Centre
Tennis at the hotel has a history of nearly 4 decades. Previously, a total of 8 clay courts and 2 indoor carpet courts were available to guests. The hotel hosted returning tennis groups as well as domestic and prestigious international tournaments, including the annual Veterans' Tennis Championship.
By contrast, the new design of the Helikon Tennis Centre has created a multifunctional sports space where guests can enjoy their love of sport from early childhood, combined with the high quality and professional service guests have come to expect at Hotel Helikon.
