During the season, which runs until early September, visitors can look forward to spectacular improvements, the most popular performers on the Hungarian music scene and several international productions.

Since opening in 2016, Plázs has written itself into the history of Lake Balaton, with more than 800 days of opening in total, nearly 500 events and around 2 million visitors. While during the day the sandy beach, the overflow pool and the 500-square-metre sunbathing jetty offer relaxation, in the evening music takes centre stage. The entertainment complex, which can hold 9,500 people in total – with its main stage and 5 further smaller venues – offers visitors a real festival experience. The popularity of the complex on Siófok’s Main Beach (Siófoki Nagystrand) is shown by the fact that the number of tickets sold had quadrupled by 2024 compared with the early days, while visitor numbers reached 320,000.

The target: 350,000 visitors
The 10th season, which runs from 7 June to 7 September this year, kicks off with a grand opening weekend. Over the Whitsun long weekend, the songs of Rúzsa Magdi and Neoton Família will be the first to ring out, and at night 22 top DJs will set the mood at the Plázs Grand Opening event.

“Ten years ago the founders set out to build Plázs with a bold vision: they dreamt up a unique venue on the shores of Lake Balaton that would redefine the very idea of summer entertainment. Plázs has since become one of the most important tourist and cultural attractions at Lake Balaton, and this season we are expecting 350,000 visitors,” said Nagy Fruzsina, head of communications at Plázs Siófok.

Majka and Halott Pénz are coming on the weekend of 25 July
This season more than 150 performers and 70 programmes await partygoers: to name just a few, tickets are available for concerts by artists such as Majka, Halott Pénz, Desh, Dzsúdló, Pogány Induló, Beton.Hofi, Manuel, Valmar, BSW, ByeAlex és a Slepp, Krúbi, Follow The Flow, and Korda György and Balázs Klári. DJ OTI also returns in August with a show that has been sold out for months. Plázs’s returning star performers, Majka and Halott Pénz, also shared their expectations for the season.
