We are proud to announce that the official history of Day Holiday Kft. began exactly 30 years ago to the day. On 15 May 1995 the stamp was put on the company registration documents, as Dakakni Amina and Czvitkó Zoltán founded Day Holiday Kft.
Over the past three decades we have reached many milestones. In 2000 Day Holiday launched the first online conference catalogue with its konferenciak.hu website, soon followed by wellnessonline.hu, which focused on the needs of individual travellers.
In 2005 the company founded the Golden Sun Award, with the aim of recognising the country’s best conference hotels. Ever since, the award has been a symbol: a handshake between hotel professionals and players in the events market.
Each year, by presenting the award, we recognise and thank those hotels whose reliable, high-quality services have helped our company organise successful events. The award, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, will be presented on 16 May 2025 at Haris Park.
Our motto has not changed since the company was founded: our company works like a bespoke tailor. We make every event “to fresh measurements”. Our aim remains to provide our partners with outstanding quality at an affordable price.
Nearly fifty companies entrust us with organising their events. Our clients include leading companies in pharmaceuticals, finance, auditing, IT, electronics and food, as well as key players in many other sectors.
